For any small business owner, time is the one thing you never have enough of. You need to be able to reach and manage your most important tasks as quickly and efficiently as possible. From the first page of your Control Panel you will find "Shortcut" links to the Top 5 Tasks for storefront owners. These Shortcuts quickly link you to your New Orders, Create New Products, Manage Categories, View Customers, and Edit Shipping Options to save you time.
The Store Orders Menu is separated into five different order status folders; New Orders, Not Finalized, Processed, Completed, and Cancelled. All successful checkout attempts will be displayed within "New Orders" which is the menu screen you will be taken too when you click on the "View New Orders" Shortcut Task.
Once you click on the "Add New Products" Shortcut Task you will be taken to the "Edit Product Details" screen. From this screen you will be able to enter all of the necessary information to add a product to your store. To see all of the fields that you can enter for each New Product visit the Product Manager section.
When you click the "Manage Categories" Shortcut Task you will be take directly to the main Category Manager screen which will display all Categories you have added in alphabetical order. Any Subcategories will display in alphabetical order beneath each parent Category. From the Category Manager Menu you have the ability to create new Categories and Subcategories as well as modify and delete existing categories.
The "View Customers" Shortcut Task takes you to the main Customer Manager Menu screen. This screen will automatically display the last customer to register for your site at the top of the list. To search for a customer, enter a term in the text box and click the "Search" button. The results will display from the Last Name, First Name, and Email Address fields.
When you click on the "Edit Shipping Options" Shortcut Task you will be taken to the main Shipping Manager Menu screen. This screen is separated into three sections; Shipping Carrier, Shipping Origin, and Shipping Methods. This allows you to specify who you will ship through, where you will be shipping from, and any other specifics related to your selected option. Many of the options that you have to select from are dependant upon the Shipping Carrier that you select. To see all of your available options read the Shipping Manager section.
