PayPal Website Payments Pro is an integrated online payment solution comparable to merchant accounts and gateways, except it's through a single provider. PayPal Website Payments Pro includes the PayPal Express Checkout option which is integrated with your Network Solutions Storefront. This Quick Guide will explain how to apply for this solution and walk you through
the steps of signing up for this option on PayPal's website.
- Log into your PayPal account
- Cut and paste the following URL into your browser:
https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_smb_signup_entry&featureID=1
- Fill in your information.
Please note: You will be required to have a social security number for this application.
- Submit your application. Approval will take between 24-48 hours to approve. You will get an approval email or you can sign into your PayPal account and follow the instructions in the Getting Started section on the upper left hand column of your account overview page.
- You should also make sure that you have accepted your billing agreement. Check the Getting Started section on the upper left hand column of your account overview page.
A Premier or Business PayPal account is required in order to sign up for PayPal Express Checkout. If you do not already have a Premier or Business PayPal account please log in to your PayPal account and read more about these services.
- Log into your PayPal account
- Click My Account Tab
- Click on the Profile Tab (on the right)
- Under the Account Information column, you should see the API Access link, click on that link
Please note: if you do not see it then your account is not Premier or Business
- In the API Access page, click on the first link, “Grant API Access Authorization”
- Click on the link below, "Custom API Authorization"
- Partner API username needs to be “billing_api1.monstercommerce.com”
- Check on the following checkboxes
- SetExpressCheckout
- GetExpressCheckoutDetails
- DoExpressCheckoutPayment
- Click "Submit"
